About
Welcome to WLPW which stand for Word of the Law, Prophets and Wisdom, a dedicated platform created and maintained by Philip Pouliot. This website serves as a comprehensive repository for his research, homework, and various documents. Here, you will find a wealth of resources, including written materials and video logs, all aimed at exploring the complexities of biblical texts and historical literature.
Since 2006, Philip has been deeply engaged in investigating the Bible and other historical writings. WLPW is designed to share insights and challenge prevailing doctrines that he believes misrepresent the truth. Whether you arrived here through a recommendation or stumbled upon this site by chance, you will discover answers to your questions about Philip's beliefs, his fellowship affiliations, and the sources of his information.
The primary mission of this website is to illuminate what Philip asserts are the inaccuracies within the New Testament and its associated texts. He argues that these writings—alongside other texts introduced after the TANAKH (Old Testament)—have been mischaracterized throughout history. WLPW invites you to explore these discussions and engage with the content as part of a broader quest for understanding and truth.
Bro. Pouliot's own words:
Shalom, I'm Philip Pouliot, and WLPW is the latest iteration of my online presence dedicated to sharing my journey and biblical research. This website was formerly known as "DeafOutsider" and "Word2Believe," and it has evolved alongside my beliefs over the past 12 years. My current focus is exclusively on the TANAKH (Old Testament), as I no longer adhere to New Testament doctrine.
The website's name has evolved twice since "Word2Believe": first to "Attest," reflecting my commitment to truth, which lasted for less than four years. WLPW, which stands for Words of the Law, Prophets, and Wisdom, is my current website domain name and encapsulates the essence of the TANAKH.
My mission, as a Deaf man who has overcome significant life challenges—including legal troubles and homelessness—is to seek truth through scripture and historical research that transformed my life. My goal is to share my discoveries and challenge what I believe to be false doctrines perpetuated by our education system. Like many Americans raised in Catholic families and Sunday schools, I was taught misconceptions about scripture.
In 2006, I joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church while homeless but left in 2009 due to perceived inconsistencies with TORAH teachings. I continued searching for true believers of 𐤉𐤄 (the Creator Father who made the heavens and earth). Ultimately, I concluded that no existing denomination or organization fully adheres to 𐤉𐤄's true teachings. While I stopped searching for a specific church denomination, my quest for deeper truth about 𐤉𐤄’s teachings continued.
In late 2020, my beliefs underwent a significant shift. After extensive comparison and research, I concluded that the New Testament contains numerous conflicts and errors when compared to the Old Testament. This discovery led me to trust solely in the TANAKH (Old Testament). This is why I initially changed my website name to "Attest" for four years before ultimately renaming it to WLPW.
WLPW serves as a platform to:
-
Share my ongoing scriptural and historical investigations.
-
Provide resources and video logs supporting my findings.
-
Explain why I believe the New Testament is a fraudulent addition to scripture.
-
Help others understand the importance of adhering solely to TANAKH teachings.
Through WLPW, I aim to continue my role as a scriptural detective, exploring and sharing what I believe to be the truth about biblical teachings and their historical context.
